Wow! It’s been a few weeks since I last checked in. Well… I’ve been busy busy, losing weight, working hard and getting ready to get that sick pack back eventually!
My six day workout schedule is working great, 3 days of KB’s and 3 days running. My runs are at the 30 minute mark during the week and I’m pushing 5 minutes longer each weekend on Saturday. Today was 35 minutes. Right now I’m simply running for time. I don’t really care about the pace, or the distance. Neither one of those things is important to me at this time. I’m just building a base. I’ll get to just around 6 miles and them keep it there for a while on Saturdays, mid week will likely remain at 30 minutes or so.
Kettlebell workouts are going great. I’m hitting the AOS ETK workbook and loving it. I just finished week 7 (took a few days off with the flu, so I didn’t move on right away). It was a great week, the workouts are awesome and I’m knocking out the swings without any problems. That is huge!
