This was a great workout week for me. I’m in the fifth week of the Art of Strength: Enter the Kettlebell program. It’s the first week of clean and press ladders and it is quite fun!
This week I had six solid workouts:
- Monday – AOS ETK, 16kg KB used throughout, “light day”
- Tuesday – 25 Minute Jog
- Wednesday – AOS ETK, 16kg KB for C&P/Swings, 24kg for the pulls (one legged rows), “medium day”
- Thursday – 25 Minute Jog
- Friday – Same as Wednesday for the KB’s, “heavy day”
- Saturday – ChiRunning clinic followed by a 25 Minute Jog
Mostly my workouts rocked out really well. Saturday was a killer, mainly because I was working on form a lot. We ran a few “hilly” areas at my ChiRunning clinic so my calves were already smoked, and a took a hard spill during the run. Lucky for me, my hands are fast so I caught myself before doing too much damage!
Anyhow, great workout week. I didn’t really lose any weight this week which is a bummer, but that is what happens when you don’t eat horribly well. The good news is that my food desires are starting to shift, I’m just taking it slowly.
