I’m getting pretty darn close to half way through the first round of P90X and am loving it. This morning was Legs and Back, a fantastic workout.
I had a rough time with this workout today. Last night, before going to sleep I jumped on the treadmill and knocked out a nice solid run. I wanted to get that in before hitting my legs today. I think the run depleted a bit of my “energy stores” as I was dragging a bit in the morning.
I was still able to hammer out a solid workout, I pushed my reps on pull-ups and am moving closing to rocking them out unassisted. Given that I’m still a bit above 300 pounds, hammering out unassisted pull-ups is a feat in and of itself! I’d really like to be able to do a few unassisted reps before this first 90 days of P90X is finished – time will tell…
