Days Thrity Three, Four, Five, Six, Seven and Eight – P90X

Wow… I’m way behind arn’t I!  So here is the review…

Friday – Legs and Back:  Great workout!  I really pushed this one hard and hammered out the leg work.  The pull-ups kicked my butt as usual, but I’m getting a lot better at them and hammering out a lot more reps.

Saturday – Second 5k in the books!  My wife and I knocked out our time from last week by 3 minutes.  That was a solid performance for both of us.  It was a pretty nasty muggy day so betting our time was awesome.

Sunday – Rest… easy peasy.

Monday – Chest, Shoulders and Arms.  My goodness this is a kicking workout as well.  I’m a big fan of these round two workouts.

Tuesday – Plyo, plyo, plyo – and a Run. This workout kicks my butt every time – it just rocks!  I hit this one pretty hard and just kept it going.  Sadly, I had to cut my run short today.  Plyo was a kicking calf/shin workout and I couldn’t hit my goal of a full 30 minutes.  I got in a good calorie burn, and increased my speed, so that is good news.

Wednesday – Back and Bi’s.  Today was a messed up day.  The schedule got thrown off badly with some family health issues, never the less, I hammered out the Back and Bis’ workout.  This was another kicking Round 2 workout.  This was a solid performance and I was able to push my reps pretty high and hammered out a nice amount of pull-ups.

Weight – I’m losing nicely this week.  So far, so good.  I’m feeling really solid about how this is going, my clothes are fitting nicely and I’m on a great path downward.
