This is a good view of why I like to use the averages

Total weight loss: 11.6 pounds, using averages (the way I measure it) 10.5 pounds.

Body fat: Down 1.5%, 1.1% average

Muscle mass: Up .4%, .5% average

Because at home scales are a little goofy on daily measurements, I prefer to use 5 day averages for my calculations.  That gives me a better feel of what is actually happening with my body composition.

Anyhow, my stats are pretty solid! I’m happy about it. I’ve also lost 2 inches on my hips, 1 inch on each thigh, an inch around my waist and my arms have gained about .5 inches.

Here are the charts that I look at roughly once a week.  I fill out a worksheet that is next to my scale with the data and then pop them into the spreadsheet every weekend or so.
