Almost there! I’m just one short day away from the 1/3 mark of P90X. As of this mornings weigh in, I’m down more than 10 pounds in a short 30 days. My weight loss has been nice and steady, but more importantly, I’m feeling really, really great!
This morning was the first day of “part two” of the P90X program. My shoulders are totally spent. Chest, Shoulders and Triceps are the focus of the day. From one-handed push-ups to some crazy triceps throwing drills, this was a killer!
Tonight my wife and I are planning to jump into the 2nd week of our “couch to 5k” program. This evening we’ll be doing about a half hour run that will be a bit easier than the 5k we just completed. The plan is 90 seconds of running then a 2 minute walk for about 20 minutes. Add in the 5 minutes of warm-up and cool-down and there is the half hour workout. By the time we are down with Round 1 of P90X, we should also be jogging a full 5k without any issues. What a transformation that will be at the end of 3 months.
